Hey guys, this is Nargan. Well, it appears that the poor handling of the sonic boom franchise could have finally come back to bite it. After Cartoon Network decided to push the show back to a time slot that no one watched and then moved it to Boomerang which is a network that no one really gets the show seems like it's on its way out after a second season next year. Along with cancellation of the show it also appears that the games and merchandise will cease production after the run of the show. That's really all we have to go off of right now but it seems like one of the reasons is that Sega of Japan is tremendously disappointed with the performance of the product. Seeing as it was a Sega of America internalized project it's not really Sega of Japan's fault except for the fact that they cleared it for production. That's really all for now is this is a rumor but it seems very likely that this is true.
But hey, one positive out of all of this besides the fact that Boom won't exist (which I personally didn't like, though I found the show decent enough) is that maybe this will open up the line for more Classic Sonic games being outsourced just like Sonic Mania while Sega of Japan works on the newest 3D Modern Sonic Games.

We as another news channel and other respected reporters in the sonic community do not recognize this article as it shows immature bias towards negativity in this franchise, as a news site, a proper news site would stay neutral.
